Café Carmel

In the heart of Carmel on Ocean Avenue, Café Carmel stands as a favorite among locals and tourists alike, perfect for a healthy breakfast, lunch or snack. The café serves dishes such as eggs Benedict, sweet or savory French toast, housemade granola, quiche and breakfast burritos.

For lunch, salads, homemade soups, and crisp panini are served, as well as tuna salad, roast beef, smoked salmon, chicken salad and BLT sandwiches. Café Carmel's menu includes these items, making it a great spot to grab a bite.

The café has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with tables seating up to 12 people, and also provides takeout and delivery through DoorDash. Baked goods, pastries, cookies, desserts and ice cream are also available, including Marianne's ice-cream made in nearby Santa Cruz.

Sarah Cook, the owner, developed a passion for cooking, baking and celebrations while growing up on the South Coast of England. She took over Café Carmel and updated the menu to include her own family favorites, maintaining the rich tradition of the café.
